As of May 2003, Tubetec has been heavily involved in the manufacturing of a custom linear lighting system for the Victorian State Library. This job has required the use of a new profile & bracket design, showcasing Tubetec’s superior manufacturing style.
Tubetec has a history of staying ahead of the rest by incorporating the latest technology into our lighting systems.
Our approach to this has been demonstrated once again, as Tubetec is now incorporating the new DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) System into our profiles. The introduction of this system has taken the lighting world by surprise, as it allows individual lights to be assigned separate addresses, enabling them to be dimmed via a PC. Also, with the introduction of movement and LUX level sensors, the DALI interface along with winDIM software now allows users to assign separate schemes for lights. For instance, if a movement sensor detects movement in an aisle, a digitally transmitted feed via TCP/IP between an assigned PC and the particular aisle light or lights, will allow the light output level in the aisle to be turned up or down without any effort. This just goes to show how advanced, practically and economical DALI can be.
