Profile Design

Tubetec luminaires are formed from extruded aluminium & designed to be mounted in long continuous runs or geometric space frames.  Everything from environmental impact to ease of installation is taken into consideration during the design of all Tubetec profiles, and to prove this, Tubetec has been busy for the past year completely re-tooling the entire product range to improve every profile in every way possible.  Using a variety of light sources & optical shielding, Tubetec systems can provide direct illumination, indirect illumination or both direct & indirect illumination.  

Fitting Efficiency

Utilizing a ground-up approach during design allows all Tubetec profiles to be highly efficient.  With the newly adopted design methods, Tubetec profiles are achieving up to an astounding 88% LOR (light output ratio) using only single T5 lamps with clear diffusers.  This enables designers to use fewer Tubetec fittings compared to competitors, while still achieving the required lighting levels for a building.  This process enables Tubetec to offer not only a saving in capital costs, but also reduced running and maintenance costs... and it keeps going.  Looking into the future, Tubetec now offers LED lamps in nearly all products for nearly the same cost as a conventional fluorescent lamps.  This means even more savings with the Tubetec LED lamps using only 50% of the power of a standard fluorescent tube.

Build Quality

As part of the new approach in manufacturing, Tubetec products now boast one of the highest build qualities available today.  With new methods, and specialised designs, Tubetec fittings are built stronger, sturdier and better than anything else.  With increased focus on diffuser, infill and louvre holding points, all Tubetec products are of the best standards and are backed by a full 12 month replacement guarantee.

ASAP Delivery Times

One of the first improvements to happen to the new Tubetec was the factory delivery times.  The new management team quickly noticed that the market for linear lighting systems had become a very lazy and relaxed one, with most companies offering between a 2-4 month lead time on products.  To counter this, Tubetec quickly undertook a painstaking 12 month consultancy course for all employees to improve lead times.  After only 6 months, lead times were reduced from 2 months to 1 month, and now, average factory lead times are down to 7 to 10 working days ex factory.  This amazing production allows Tubetec to offer a higher quality, more efficient , more cost effective product 90% quicker than competitors!
